Shaka: Self, you forgot to watch the new Inuyasha last night! That was the funny one, and the last one you'd seen in subtitled!

Self: I'm sorry! I was having fun talking to my friend and the cute Australian exchange student! Stop kicking me!

Shaka: Priority-deficient ingrate! What is friendship and romance to your entertainment obssessions?!!

Self: But IY totally isn't even our fandom anymore! We quit it out of boredom!

Shaka: That was when I was like thirty episodes ahead, nitwit! Obviously I must now start up again given the opportunity!

Self: Hypocrite! Fair-weather fan!

Shaka: Shut up! Do you want me to beat your ass with my 12 textbooks for this quarter?!

Self: I'm sorry! I'll watch it tonight!

Shaka: You'd better!

Heh. IY is one of those shows I keep following in the vain hope that it will live up to its promise and get better.

You too? I got up to the 130s or something before I gave up. I haven't seen it (or tried to see it) in months.

I quit at episode 80 or 81. Which at the time *felt* like pretty far, but ended up being just less than half the series.

It was so entertaining in the beginning. Until it started to piss me off. Then just pissed me off more. Then it just kept pissing me off and I stayed with it up until episode 80 and are now returning to it out of twisted curiosity, love and loyalty for Rumiko Takahashi, and a unfortunately need to see how it goes and ends.

I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible even though I've watched the whole series without getting bored or cynical, but I think if you stick it out you will really enjoy the long arc that begins in episode 102. That storyline is one of the best in the entire series. Following that is also the fun and twisted "omg, what is Naraku doing with an evil baby? That kills people? And has the greatest theme music ever?!?!" arc.

[Hakudoshi's character music is so good I cannot dislike him no matter what he does.]

Plus the characters had so much potential, it bugs me they're getting so little real development. And so much of it is just filler, she really needs to get on with the story and wrap it up, methinks.

Well, it's good news that a fun new arc starts soon. I admit my curiosity was caught and amused by a music video I watched about the dead gay purple-wearing zombie in love with Inu Yasha that happens sometime after #100.

Yes, you'd BETTER. It's the Rin-Is-Adorable & Sesshomaru-Is-Adorable-As-Well-As-Badass Arc.

"I, Sesshomaru, would never stoop to rescuing a pathetic kidnapped human! Pah! I am just taking a walk! In the direction that the kidnapped human went! Because the walk is nice this way!"

Dude, what episode number played last night? Because I thought we were already past the ones I'd seen, but I *know* I've seen the one that just aired on Tuesday and probably the one that will air tonight as well.

thanks for the link.

I reminded me I forgot to watch last night. Darn; it'll be hard to keep up with them with my current schedule. At least until the cable in my dorm room is finally installed (hopefully soon!) and I'm able to record after I go to sleep.

do you know of actual episode summaries?
