I think someone installed an SEP drive around the refrigerator in my dorm house. 8 people sharing the fridge, and things spill. Things get old.

No one does anything.

They all collectively ignore it. They see but they don't see, because their brain whispers "It's somebody else's problem" and somehow it all just...disappears... as if it were never really there at all.

XD I'm rereading my grand collection of the Hitchhiker's books now, and just got past that bit. I think there's one that covers our entire living room and kitchen, actually. You're lucky yours is so small.

The concept of the SEP drive is probably one of my top ten favorite things in HHGG.
