Being not at all loyal to or knowledgable of the comics, and having quite a crush on Wolverine, it pleases me.
But I sympathize with your pain. Any time I hear new stuff about Ender's Game I get depressed, so I know where you're coming from in terms of fan angst.
I have to agree with the comments from a few others I read in the replies - didn't they already have two movies about Wolverine? Even the idea that they'd go into his whole Japanese storyline, it appeals little to me as a fan. Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against Hugh Jackman. He's a great actor and did well with Wolverine, it's that I can't stand Wolverine. The character has effectively hijacked the entire X-Men franchise, in the movies (and the comics, it seems some days).
What really depressed me was this number. Oy vey and fuck me sideways. They just need to pull the plug on the X-Men movie franchise until Fox gets their collective head out of their ass.
