I don't. I have in the past - My college roommate and I used to go to the anime group's periodic all-day marathons and catch stuff, and we'd rent what was limitedly available back then (i feel like such an old geezer), but I've never been into it hardcore where I know different series or can keep characters straight and such.
the things I remember watching: I found Akira boring, and I love the original Vampire Hunter D., Bubblegum Crisis was amusing, Vampire Princess Miyu was cute. I'm not sure if it's considered "real anime" because it was released as a US feature film (I have no idea what your fandom definitions are over thattaway *g*), but I love Princess Mononoke.
