Naruto dub

Okay, for some reason Kakashi's voice is really working for me now. In fact, I like it quite a bit when he's doing his serious battle voice.
On the downside, I'd forgotten the long pauses in some of these earlier episodes, and how weird the pacing was. I remember now that I had lots of pacing complaints with the first two seasons. How it would be sloooow and then really really fast.
Also, I can't escape the fact that some of the inherent youthful cheesiness of Naruto dialogue seems more obvious when said aloud in my native language. I admit to a wee bit of cringing. On the other hand, it's going to be getting better quickly, especially once Haku appears.
The bridge battle with Haku is my favorite part of the first arc, and the second and third arcs of the chunin exam through the Sand-Sound war are my favorite arcs. I'd like to just skip ahead to those, actually.
::giggle::
The heavily accented way they say "Sharingan" is cracking me up more than is really warranted, I think.
