Dear Australians of LiveJournal,

What do you think of Bond University's graduate law program?

Thanks,

Prospective International Student

I think it's wonderful. Really, really good. But you know whose Law program is better?

Macquarie Uni's. It's like, the best. Chuck out the rest.

Please note that my advice has nothing at all to do with the fact that I want you to come here and meet you and hang around with you.

I feel totally random doing this... (and sorry for stalking your journal)

I'm actually an American studying abroad in Australia, at Macquarie Uni, right now.
This school is really good and it's in a nice location (not too far from Sydney). I'm not studying law, so I don't know how that is (although I could ask my roommie for you), but I get the impression that upper-level courses are better than the intro level, that all the international students take. So stick with things that you're already studying.

Of course, if you're looking at Bond because you want to study in Queensland, that's different. I could tell you more about the location than anything else, although I get the impression it's a very good school too.

Australia in general is pretty awesome, so you should definitely study here!

Um...I could go on, but I don't know exactly what you'd like to here about. I hope this helped anyway!

I appreciate the comment, thank you! How do you feel about the distance from home?

Well, it is awfully far and sometimes that gets to me. As long as you have internet though (which can be expensive), it's easy to stay in touch. Also, my family visited me and we went traveling together, so that helped a lot.

Oh, and there are a LOT of Americans here, so everyone's pretty much in the same boat and it's easy to relate.
