Episode 20 - episode 22 teaser:
?If a private investigator was able to figure out that a pair of cops killed the Fortners instead of Tenma, why can't this supposedly awesome Funky Fingers Investigator figure that out. Is he simply determined to pin it on Tenma? Or is he putting the blame for these murders on Tenma in the hopes that it will flush out Tenma, so he can be bagged for the hospital murders?

Why do other side characters manage to figure ot that there's more going on here than just Tenma, but the Funky Fingers Investigator can't?

This looks like a case for Mulder & Scully!

In other news... I continue to find it difficult to track the exact passage of time where Nina is concerned. I get that it's now 6 months after the Turkish Quarter fires, but what exactly what Nina doing in that time? Was that when she was being trained? Or was she trained before then? My head's all confused. I feel somewhat like I felt when I first watched FMA from episodes 26-42... too much information, too fast!

But we've established now how Johan is able to pull off at least some of these amazing murders-- he arranges other people to do them through blackmail or payment. Still would like to know how he killed everyone in the hospital as a kid. And why he killed more people 9 years later--- I probably should rewatch episode 4. Clearly he wants Tenma chasing him. I don't quite believe that there's two Johans and that the good Johan wanted Tenma to hunt him down and stop him. Because that would mean the good Johan was the one who killed the doctors so that Tenma would be blamed for it, which doesn't make him "good" at all. I think this personality thing is a fake-out. A Kansas City Shuffle, if you will. (Yeah, I saw that Josh Hartnett movie. It was mediocre.)

I could answer ALL of your questions, but that would pretty much make watching the rest of the series pointless. :)

Can you answer me this: Was Nina trained before or after her adopted parents were killed, and before or after the Turkish quarter fires? Or at least, what am I supposed to think to answer that at this point in the series? Without spoiling if possible, but I think I *should* know the answer I've just gone too long between episodes to put it all together.

..

Lunge just got stabbed! And then my computer died! Ack!

I love how he looked at the stabbing guy want was like "Bitch, did you just stab me? Now you're gonna get it, pissant."

Now I gotta turn it back on and finish the ep...

It's hard to answer that one without being spoilery, either. You'd be inclined to assume she was trained after the fires. Gah. It's hard to explain anything without referencing things that happen much later, like in episodes 50 +.

Okay then, I'll leave it at that. :)

Just watched 23. Spent a lot of the episode going "Oh Eva..."
