So why oh WHY has it been a year since it was updated?!

I MISS EVERMORE SO MUCH. It was so wonderful and properly-spelled and had characterization; GOOD characterization, at that! And it used everybody! And it had an interesting OC, and a plot, and it didn't make my eyes bleed--why can't other Fruits Basket fic be more like Evermore?
