donna_c_punk link to this post</> on doctorwho, and I was most entertained by the medium-level drama ensuing. I'd forgotten there were fandoms out there where people still vocally freaked out about slash. But maybe that's what I get for playing in almost exclusively Jossverse and anime fandoms for about 4 years.

My favorite comment is down near the bottom, where a self-professed lesbian declares Doctor/Doctor to be gross and wrong, but that she'd love to see some Romana/Romana.

Sometimes I forget how sheltered I am within my current fandoms. Sheltered from sexuality wank, I mean. I haven't seen a sexuality wank in ages. Even a relatively young fandom like Avatar is pretty accepting of slash pairings. I guess once you accept that slash fandom happens (whether you're into it or not) you sort of forget that not everyone is as open-minded.

I'm like "Wow, people think the Doctor is asexual? Who knew. You over there, get this! Someone thinks the Doctor is asexual! Isn't that quaint? And oh, hey, this guy thinks slash fanfiction is morally corrupting? Do you really? That's so sad; I had no idea. Would you like some recs to help you get over that feeling?"

And I'm not even all that into slash.
