A:TLAB poll - spoilers?
Jul. 22nd, 2006 11:02 pmDear Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom: a poll.
[Poll #776087]
Please explain your answers to the YES/NO question in comments, thank you. But don't hint-- I don't want to be able to guess the spoilers from your comments. I just want to be able to quantify the potential damage. Like on a scale of 1-5, where 1 is "Sokka buys a bag" and 5 is "Yue dies."

Date: 2006-07-24 02:57 am (UTC)Believe me, the new Comic-Con stuff - DON'T READ THEM. They're legit, too, which makes it all the more dangerous - and a part of it is
reminiscent of fanonfantastic. You unsullied fool. So lucky. TT_TT
i'm a cynic - so i could be biased

Date: 2006-07-24 04:26 am (UTC)Some of the spoilers out there are TV Guide type plot summaries but stuff for the next two or three episodes aren't. But most of the time they're just plot summaries so if you did read them before the episode aired you'd get a basic feel for what's happening next. I still said no because you come across as one of those fans that don't want to have the entire epsiode ruined for you. Watch for the tags and the proper cuts and don't take part in anything concerning this past weekend's Avatar event at Comic Con and you'll be okay.

Date: 2006-07-24 06:59 pm (UTC)Anyways... DO NOT READ, the spoilers will not satiate your curiosity, it will just make it stronger and that is not fun...!

Date: 2006-07-24 07:32 pm (UTC)I stayed very close to spoiler-free for BTVS. The only times I got spoiled were against my will.

Date: 2006-07-24 07:45 pm (UTC)The poll is pretty close... the good thing about you getting spoiled is that you'll be able to write some fanfiction inspired by it XD

Date: 2006-07-25 12:06 am (UTC)Anyway, I've changed my mind: read the damn spoilers already so I can have an intelligent conversation about them. (muhahaha)

Date: 2006-07-25 07:51 am (UTC)Then no, the spoilers don't really ruin anything, except maybe for one surprise, which will probably be all over ff.net, knowing fandom.
