ATLAB is already up to the third season?

No, but it's having another two-episode special I believe, after about two months' break. This will be 2x12 and 2x13, I think. They're advertising it as "secrets of the fire nation"-- I'm not sure if that's an ad thing for the double-episode showing or the actual name of one of the eps.

It should be pretty interesting, though. Last time we saw Aang he just about went postal on some (relatively) innocent and (relatively) helpless people. I keep hoping there will be some fallout from that last episode because it had a lot of conflict and Aang was being pretty dickish and 12-year-old-like, even if his upsetness was justified.

I haven't caught up yet, tho. I believe the last episode I saw was "Zuko Alone". I've been contemplating just waiting for the second season to finish out and marathoning the show, like I did with season one.

I'm enjoying the writing this season, but a few times now the animation has been inconsistant-- like, you know how Zuko looked 17 in his special episode? In the last double-episode airing he looked about 14. It was weird-- a lot of people commented on it. Especially since going by the ages and information we have so far, he probably turned 17 over the season 1-2 break. And the others are probably pushing their birthdays as well, assuming they weren't newly turned when the show started. They've been running around for at least five months now. (At least a month was spent at just the Northern Tribe, going by one clever fan's moon-in-background analysis.)

Marathoning the eps might not be a bad idea. I'm basically committed to my fandom at this point, but I can understand just waiting it out. It's only 20 eps per season, and they're half-hour episodes.
