Feeling much better right now. Haven't cried in 3+ hours, and am bordering on cheering myself up. Just read some good fanfic, and that helped. Especially reading the newst chatper of starbaby's "I'll Fly Away", a long-awaited update.

Also cheered self up somewhat with watching the trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean", a movie which looks like it could be very very cool. Look at the cast majors:

Johnny Depp
Geoffrey Rush
Orlando Bloom

JD is both unbelievably pretty, and a great actor. GR is a great actor, though not so pretty, but definitely entertaining to watch. OB is also unbelievably pretty, and seems to be a decent actor, but we haven't seen enough of him in big, visible movies to be sure-- but I'm confident.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the plot. But by the cast alone it has a lot of potential. I can't wait until a second trailer comes out, one that actually shows you what the actors will look like in character...

I set my plot spies to find out about Pirates of the Carribean (the trailer is not very helpful) and all they could tell me was;

"Its based on a ride at a disney theme park"

I had them shot!

Thank you, and today has been a much better day. No scary near- car accidents, no hospital time so far. Though my mother is probably there right this minute, so I shouldn't feel relieved that I don't have to be there, when I'm sure she doens't want to be either. Oh well.

I just acidentally spoiled myself for most of the movie. 3/4. And now I'm pissed at myself--but maybe I'll forget it all by july.

And I just had to post that every time I see anything re: Pirates of the Caribbean, I think of seeing the trailer before TTT.

After the preview ended the theater was totally dark and quiet for a second when someone pipes up, "Rated 'Arrrrr!'" and everyone cracked up. Not particulary original, but a fun moment nonetheless.

Unfortunately, I was just skimming www.aintitcool.com news, and I might've accidentally spoiled myself for about 3/4 of the plot. That site is evil, evil I tell you! Especially since now I'll have to wait 6 months before the film comes out to see if the spoilers were true. ::sigh::

::grin:: It's going to be great. Like window-shopping. All Pretty Men All The Time. Well, at least Two Pretty Men All The Time. And plus, it looks fun.

I love pirate movies, and I LOVE ships and sailing, and who doesn't like swords? Who, I ask?!

Swords and pistols and square-riggers and probably treasure (cause hey, pirates!) and pretty men and pretty islands and high adventure!

And Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom in one movie!

Love pirate movies. :sigh:
