You know, I wasn't too fond of Anotsu either - I thought he was a silly bastard - until that volume where he and Rin 'teamed up'.

I may change my mind if I rewatch it-- it's been a while. But he inspired annoyance in me at best. Also, the two catgirls pimp thing bugged me. Though the catgirls themselves were fine characters.

In totality, I love everything about Esca and Folken is a part of that. He certainly had an interesting role in the plot. But as a character, I found nothing to be that fond over.

Perhaps we can not fight, and instead bond over Van/Hitomi love?

I love Folken. He was the first character that got me into anime. I loved his relationship with all the characters in the entire series and could spend hours and hours talking about him, but that would be insanely boring. He's kind of a wuss, kind of a rebel, and also ran straight into a brick wall trying to bring about a better world. Oh well.

Van/Hitomi love is totally acceptable though. (But I have to say, Hitomi/Folken love is FUN.)

This one is shareable too, because Kakashi/Kabuto is a pairing that doesn't get the love and fanfic it deserves. How can I find 50 Kakasaku fics and only 4 Kabuto/Kakashi fics? IT'S A CRIME. Because there was one episode where they were so eyefucking.

Well, since I don't actually watch the show *smile* I can only go by the little bits of him I've have seen (One episode) so I will have to take your word on it.. To be honest, Naruto is the one that got on my nerves the most... little blond idiot. Frankly, I just tuned him out and focused on Kakashi... yummm...

You haven't even watched or read it? Oh, you are probably getting a very biased version of the characters from fandom. Fanfiction makes Sasuke out to be a lot nobler than he is, and Naruto a lot dumber. Fanfiction Sakura gets royally brutalized when it comes to character accuracy or consistancy.

I'd recommend you actually watch the anime, or read the manga. :) You'd love it-- and you'd probably find you love Naruto. He's a lot more complicated than just a loud brat-- and he's hardly an idiot. Actually, he's a bit like a more extreme version of Aang... Aang reminded me a lot of Naruto, with the exception that Naruto is much more determined than Aang, because where Aang was raised in a loving environment that provided him the emotional stability to cope with his power and destiny, Naruto... was not. Naruto's entire happy personality is a very well-developed self-defense mechanism that he developed as the only possible way to deal with his atrocious and brutal childhood. This is all stuff you learn from pretty early on in the storyline, so I wouldn't say it's spoilery.
