I love talking to people about Doctor Who. Back in July I had my little weeping breakdown of fan agony and love after the finale, and I've been kinda on-off mourning my ship ever since. Few ships made me so outright happy as Doctor/Rose. For all the angst of the Doctor, as a couple they were so happy and fun and wonderful together that I miss them dearly. Most ships on tv never get to that level of romanticism or just positivity, you know? The couple was so good and so believable as true love and partnership that they when they inevitably broke them up it took forcible separation. ::whimper:: If only my other fandom ships could get such treatment in canon.

Though often, fic helps with the fangirl sadness.

I love the fact that they hug about TWICE EVERY FREAKIN' EPISODE!!! AND THEY'RE ALWAYS HOLDING HANDS AND STUFF!

Although, what would happen if a ship like Zutara got the Rose/Doctor Treatment, eh? :D

Yes to the hugging and hand-holding. They were so unabashedly affectionate, and instead of it being boring the audience jsut wanted to join the hug and be giddy with them.


If K/Z got the full-on canon OTP giddy happy love treatment, I think Aang, Sokka, and Azula would run to the nearest bathroom and barf.

If they just got the full-on canon OTP treatment but in a more serious and dramatic way... I think there'd be a lot of happy campers on the internet.
