AhhhhhhhhHA! Yes, that is my true calling! I pirate I should be!
(side note-- have you ever heard the Jimmy Buffet song "Pirate Looks at Forty"? It's interesting, though not at all appropriate to me. But my parents like Jimmy Buffet so I've heard nearly every song by him at least 7 times, and this one was always my favorite. And yes, if you listen to something unwillingly often enough from a young age, you do give in and start to pick favorites.)

Seriously, try fencing. its fun I promise! In no other sport/hobby is your ability to quote The Princess Bride so important. Repeat after me; "my name...."

Re:
Date: 2003-01-20 01:27 pm (UTC)He writes what I call "vacation music"--because we always listened to it on the boat. My parents like him a lot; he's around their age now. He hamde most of his music in the seventies and eighties I think, but he still puts out new stuff. And actually his father was some multi-billionaire, but he has made a hell of a lot of money on his own with music. I think some of his more radio popular songs were "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and "Margarita-ville", but like I said most of this came out earlier; I just listened cause my parents like him.
