Pushing Daisies 1x02
Oct. 14th, 2007 12:48 pmThis is the most adorable, most amusing, most brightly-colored show I've discovered since the first time I watched Doctor Who. Which is not to say the shows are anything alike, because they're not alike at all except in those ways I just mentioned.
In terms of plot and style, Pushing Daisies is like a combination of Dead Like Me and Tim Burton films, sprung from the mind of a person obsessed with French movies and romantic comedy.
I adore it. This episode was every bit as cute as the one before it, quite a bit more funny, and twice as charming.
WATCH THIS SHOW.

((swoon))
The rubber-gloved hand holding made me think of all the naughty movie!verse Rogue fic out there, and how they might go all the way. Ned / Chuck: It's Kinky by Necessity.
I wonder how often Chuck will have to waste the alive agian victim's precious minute of talk-time before Ned has to explain that, any longer, and somebody in proximity dies. Which will of course make her wonder who he indirectly killed to keep her alive. Oh, that's going to hurt, and knock some of the stars out of her eyes...
((bites nails))
