I just got free concert tickets!
The really really cool kind!
A fairly young rock station in San Jose (104.9, FM) is having their 2nd anniversary party, and you can't buy tickets, only win.
And I hunted down their van tonight where it was giving some out, and I got one!
::bouncing up and down madly::
Unfortunately, it was only one ticket because I didn't have anyone with me, so I might have to go alone. But I'm so excited!

Evanescence
Ama
The Donnas
Can you tell how happy I am?! I've only ever been to one concert before. This is great!
Of course, it's tomorrow night, so not much warning, but should be a blast!

bloodypoetry made a fantastic Buffy/Spike video to it a month or so ago. Really awesome special effects in that vid. Plus, the song is so Spuffy.
And I'm going to be hella dancing to it LIVE TOMORROW NIGHT!!!
::giggle:: right now I'm bugging my best friend K to try calling in several times tonight to see if she can win too, so I'm not going alone.

Seriously though, I'm happy for you. Definitely need to see more than one concert.
And I agree about the Donnas...they kick ass! I love them.

Date: 2003-01-23 11:19 pm (UTC)First time for something like this, ever. And I had to do a lot of very annoying dusk-time driving in busy streets to do it. I think the only reason they ahd some left when I got there was because the friggin' van was so hard to find.
