I had a huge review & reactions post, but it got lost.
Overall, I loved it. This is the zaniest, whackiest Disney movie I've seen since Lilo & Stitch, though I think this one came out first.
Like everyone said, it was hilarious-- it was the funniest Disney feature I've seen, I think, for pure number of jokes crammed into an hour and a half. It was light-hearted, sweet, moral, and hilarious. I liked that there was no romance (except the awesomely awkward implied romance of Kronk and Ysme. "He's... what, late twenties?" / "...I'm not sure.") I liked that the main relationship of the film was friendship with a bit of a family/father-son vibe too. I liked the meso-american setting and the bright colors and the character designs. I liked all the actors and actresses. I liked all the characters. I liked the anachronistic jokes and the space mountain ride and Ysme's cat voice reaction and all the many, many jokes about cross-dressing, homo-erotic tension, older woman/younger man romances, and morality vs. selfishness. I liked Kronk's cooking, and his shoulder angel & devil. I liked Kuzko's happy oblivious nature and his joy of life. I liked Pacha as everyone's papa. I liked Ysme because she wasn't really THAT evil, just... disgruntled.
Like Tarzan, the music wasn't a big deal here. I thought the main number in the beginning was cleverly animated. Other than that, I barely noticed it.
I liked Kuzko's First Person POV (a narrative device that's so very fitting for his self-centered character), and the whole way the movie started. With the "memememeemmeememee!" I knew I was going to like it.
EDIT: Comments allowed now, sorry!
