I remember FF.net did this sometime last year as well. I finished my WHR fic (The Burning Time) in January of '07, and for some reason FF.net had disabled all update and review alerts. V. annoying.

The annoying thing is that I'm still getting the alert when some adds a favorite or alert to my story or account, but I'm not getting of my alerts for other people's updates.

Speaking of updates... it's that time again! For me to bug you for Zutara fic. The days are winding down. :)

LOL! Somehow I knew that was coming! I'm workin', I'm workin'! :p I think I'll still work on it (both pr0n and non-pr0n fic) even after the finale; despite the fact that I spoiled myself for the SC book, I still have an urge to make up my own ending.

I noticed FF.net has really pared down the support process for the site, as well. There used to be "support tickets" that you were assigned when you had a problem, and you could access the ticket and see the progress being made on it. Now...nothing. :/
