So. ::cough:: I hath perhaps an idea?

You know that brief flare of interest I had for a sequel to Whose Hearts Are Mountains set in "The Western Air Temple"?

Now I'm wondering if it might not be more fun to try to write an alternate version of 3x12-3x21, the second half of season 2, starting from that premise. And given everything that happened already, it would be so easy.

Except it would be long and arduous work. And I kind of have other things I have to think about writing. Still... ::tucks idea away for future:: Perhaps a series of one-shot fics, rather than an ongoing story. One for TWAT, one for TSR, and one for TEIP, and then two or three separate ones for the finale.

:g: You're obviously misunderstanding (misunderestimating?) my secretly bitchy, control-freak, elitist, competitive, psycho-jealous neurotic writer brain. You see... I would *love* you to write it. It can only be a win for me! Observe:

scenario a) You write it, it kicks total fucking ass, and I am happy and I fangirl it all over the place and it's generally a circle of love.

scenario b) You write it and you mangle it horribly, and I say "oh, that's nice" and am suddenly inspired to totally rewrite it and make it "better" and "properly" and "fix that one thing I hated", which results in me feeling vindicated and you also getting my version of it. AND the internet then gets BOTH our versions! Double win!
