This is so...so...1989. Heehehee. And wow, NPH is young. He doesn't even look 16... he looks 14. Or maybe my perception is distorted; now that I'm an adult in my 20s, all teens look like little baby kids to me. It's a bit weird. And he's baby-faced anyway.

I can't stop giggling through this. He's good at memorizing the med jargon.

That birthday joke was SO MEAN. Oh the poor kid, that was just... so mean. Also, kind of creepy harassment-like.

Good joke back... and one that says he's still a sixteen year old boy, unlike the joke they played on him.

And now he's suiting up! Awww...Chibi Barney with his first suit. Uhgh...was that a teenybopper underwear shot? o.O I don't need to see that.

Wow, the tongue thing worked. Good for you, kiddo.

Overall? Cute. A bit cheesy, but solid writing. Shorter than I expected at only half an hour. NPH was a good child actor, though it's weird to look at the kid here and imagine him growing up to be Barney Stinson or Dr. Horrible.

...actually, I take that back. It's not that big a stretch to imagine him growing up to be Dr. Horrible. This is, weirdly, like looking at Dr. Horrible's childhood or something.

God, I remember watching this show every single week when it was on. The days when you said, "I like Neil Patrick Harris" got you a serious ass kicking in the parking lot after school.

A bit of both. You were seriously mocked and teased for admitting you were a Doogie fan back in the day. At least, in my school. It just boggles me at how "COOL" NPH is. I'm sitting here, thinking, "Damn, if only he was this cool when I was watching his first show. I'd have been ridiculed less in middle school."
