Is it just me or does Beck's new song "Lost Cause" sound like a total rip-off from the music in The Foo Fighter's "Walking After You"?

They sound alike to me. I keep wanting to start singing the wrong words to the Beck song.

Oooooo.... now local rock station is playing "Glycerine" by Bush... god I love this song. Every time I hear it I'm reminded why it's a) my favorite song ever, and b) why it's my favorite B/S song ever.

Made a cake for the mom-unit's birthday. She demanded rum cake, which I love, but I had been hoping she'd want chocolate. Haven't had chocolate in a while, and rum cake is rather odd for b-days. But rum cake it was. With chopped walnuts. Yum. Smells absolutely wonderful. Now I'd better get to wrapping before it gets too late...

I *must* hear "Lost Cause" now. And if they are the same, I will be annoyed, because "Walking After You" is one of my very favorite songs... (Yes, I am Ye Sadde Olde X-Files Shippergeeke. Yay me.)

As long as we're on Song-Sounds-Like, the long bridge of Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry" is exactly like Duncan Sheik's "Barely Breathing. Drives. me. nuuuuuuuts.

Mmmm. There should be more chocolate-rum-cakes. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

reeeeeaaaalllyyyyy... I had not noticed that. Now I have to download "barely breathing" and compare. But I swear-- the first time I heard "lost cause" on the radio I thought it was familiar, and I started to sing the wrong words, and then it took me a while to think of which song I was trying to replace it with. BUt defintely try and hear them both-- they're so alike.
