I've been hoping that Ted would be a good friend about it because he failed so spectacularly (and really felt OOC) and disappointed me so badly in The Goat, and I have been preparing myself to be disappointed again...BUT HE WAS NICE AGAIN.

Hello Ted Mosby, cheerful dude I quite liked for seasons 1-2!!! I'VE MISSED YOU. I'm glad the constraints of a rushed plotline no longer requires you to be OOC about Robin! Thank you!

I'm just...really proud of Ted for seeing through Barney's BS and stepping back even without a confession. And I loved the two actors staring at each other in the kitchen. Josh Radnor is a good actor in his own right and he and NPH have a solid Bro chemistry.

I loved Barney's "And now I'm smoking. SMOKING!" when sharing his Feelings with Lily's class.

This episode had so many good moments, I can't stop babbling about it. Marshall's storyline was kind of limp filler in comparison to the A plot with Ted/Robin/Barney, but I still got amused. I think I must be more dirty-minded like Barney than I am like Marshall, though, because apparently the episode was all about poop, whereas I (like Barney) thought "reading a magazine" was all about masturbation. I can't be the only one who was confused about that, right?

Edit: I kind of want to write a really sappy scene where Robin gets in a car crash or a coma something, and Barney freaks out at her bedside and is all romantic and open with his love but it is a DEEP TRAGEDY, and Marshall's all like "What? When did this happen?"
And Barney's like "You know nothing!" and Ted & Lily are like frantically whispering "Shut up dude!" in Marshall's ear.

But I'm kind of silly that way.

On a totally separate note, I loved Penny's shirt in this episode of The Big Bang Theory. The dark orange one. Probably my favorite thing I've seen her character wear.
