I laughed through the Master's death scene and most of the season 3 finale.

I think Moffat is an awesome writer on his good days and crap shit on his bad days, for which we can thank the dregs of awful nonsense and OOCness that was The Girl In The Fireplace.

I think Donna's better off with her memory gone than the alternative, and there's no argument for self-determination that will convince me that the woman who valued life so highly would rather be dead than be human again.

I don't think Ten is as much of an asshole as the rest of fandom does.

How could you NOT? I heard people cried, and I almost couldn't believe it. I mean I felt bad for the Doctor, and David Tennant acted the hell out of the scene and I do love John Simm...but even so. I LOLed.

I think Itachi is ugly, and Sasuke only marginally less so. Also, I hate that every fucking girl is a healer, and in my head Shikamaru doesn't smoke because that is lame on so many levels.

And I only very rarely liked Jeraiya...his only redeeming feature was that he was loyal to Konoha and in death finally did something right by Naruto.

And for so long I only liked Jiraiya in the sense that I enjoyed seeing him suffer, and then he grew on me, just in time to die and leave Tsunade heartbroken.

I don't know or care about Naruto, but I do hate the Every Girl's A Healer trope in other media I do know/care about.

But don't you know it's scientific? Really, it is. Girls are blessed with a higher percentage of Sucric and Spicic endorphins, which in turn generate the Everythingice-ic hormones, which in turn makes them understand people's inner pain and turmoil better and, as a bonus, causes them to shit pretty flowers.

That's so tricky... I don't know! I would say the fact that Mytho bores me up until the final episode, but I think that's true of a lot of people, so it's not exactly an unpopular opinion. I don't know if there are major opinions of the fandom that I disagree with.

Okay, got one: Neko-sensei is not my favorite character. I thought he was annoying for most of the show, and didn't appreciate his character until I rewatched the show. Even then, his gimmick still irritated me sometimes. He's alright, just not my favorite.

I think Jet died as a result of his own behavior, and he was not redeemed no matter how sympathetic Katara or Aang were to his death. He never got better, he never learned the error of his ways. He was simply a bully until a bigger bully victimized him. I'm not surprised he protected Aang, because Aang was never who he had a problem with, but protecting the Avatar because he isn't on your hit list (and is useful to your cause) does not mean you're suddenly a good person. He's an attempted mass-murderer and probably has murdered individuals before. He would have eventually used Katara and Aang again if he'd been self-aware long enough to plan something. Katara was right not to waste her magic healing water on the psychopathic little terrorist fuck.

However, those are the reasons I like his character. I love that the cartoon was so daring to include someone like him. But I just have to roll my eyes at people who think Jet was somehow magically redeemed just because Long Feng killed him in front of Aang.

I don't even know where to begin. The fandom was so divided and so huge that any of my major opinions could have plenty of agreeing people and plenty opposed.

I guess one of the non-PC opinions that I had was that the massive balloon of Spike/Xander slashfic that came out in seasons 6 and 7 and seemed to take over the Spike fanfic writers always put me off. It wasn't hot, and I could never stretch my brain to think it was in-character. If there were two people on that show who would NEVER sleep together, they were Spike and Xander.
