Personally, Queen Latifah was my favorite part. But the thing in my subject line was pretty damn funny too.

The arrangements were pretty terrible, I have to say. Particularly the number with Beyoncé, although the last part of the number before Best Original Song was a close second. Not even John Legend, love of my life, could make that one better.

I enjoyed the one with Byonce, though I don't think she's got a voice that justifies all the popular singing moments she's been given in the last two months (pre-election, etc.) She was picked for star presence than for her voice, which was only adequate. And I wasn't wild about her costume. But the rest of the number I enjoyed quite a bit.

The opening number was funny. I didn't like the weird loetard dancers, and the song was too disparate, but the Nixon stuff was LOLtastic, and my whole family cracked up at Jackman's final line.

I was neither here nor there about the Best Song productions, but my dad commented that it was nice to seem something culturally different being performed, and I had to agree with that.
