Perhaps their use of the word "speeden" tipped you off? ;-) I always love the emails promising me money that have various words misspelled and used incorrectly.

ARGHHH. I freakin' HATE fraudsters. A well known writer that I know in RL just had her Yahoo account hacked---the hacker, who was FAR cleverer than the average, then sent out an email (purportedly from the person) that she had had to make an emergency trip to Africa, had been arrested, and was begging her friends to wire her funds immediately so that she wouldn't spend the night in an African jail. The story of course was completely fishy, but the fraudster actually took pains to make it sound like the writer in question. Vy. insidious.
