I love that this job has made Barney and Marshall better friends! Now Marshall and Robin just need more friend bonding.

Robin and Ted are funnier as roommates than they ever were dating.

I'm in the mentoring discussion right now. BroTP sitting together with Ted on the other side. WHY DOES THAT STILL MAKE ME EXCITED FOUR SEASONS LATER??

Robin/Assistant .... okay, I totally LOLed. Season 2 Barney would definitely hi-five that. Poor season 4 Barney!

"How did this even happen?"
...okay...that's....
"There are billions of guys in the world, why do you have to sleep with my assistant?"
...not a coincidence!

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA,,,,Fantasy!Guy / Robin OTP.

"You leave a chocolate cake on the counter, Mama's gonna cut her off a slice."

"Of course he's gonna sleep with her she's the greatest woman on the PLANET I'm getting off topic Ted you're an IDIOT!" How dense is Marshall?

"I'm...wait for it...in...wait for it...love...wait for it...with...wait for it..." HAHAHAHAHAA. I've missed that joke.

...I guess not dense at all at this point: "We even try to sit on the same side of the booth so you two will have to sit together." Heheheheee... of course they do. More important question: how does Robin not know?

"I don't love her. I just miss her when she's not around, I think about her all the time, and I imagine us one day running toward each other in slow motion and I'm wearing a brown suede vest."

LOL. "She's pure evil, Marshall. You got a good one there, hang on to her."

Wow, Cobie Smulders is reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaallllllly pregnant. I love this: "I used to describe my ideal guy as funny, smart, passionate, challenging."

The ninja tag scene at the end was pretty funny, too. I love GNB as a parody of corporate culture.

OMG, I loved this episode so much. SO HILARIOUS AND WONDERFUL AND IN LOVE!BARNEY IS MY FAVOURITE. :D

I agree with everything in this review. Ted and Robin ARE far funnier as roomates than they ever were dating. I also found Ted's pretentious "feel the building" mentoring advice endearing rather than annoying.

Marshall and Barney suddenly becoming BFFs is unexpected but welcome! They amuse me more than Barney and Ted ever did. And Marshall knowing the whole time about Barney being in love with Robin. Of course he did. Awwww.

"I don't love her. I just miss her when she's not around, I think about her all the time, and I imagine us one day running toward each other in slow motion and I'm wearing a brown suede vest."

Possibly my favourite line of the season! :D

Ted's pretentiousness (and the way the others call him on it) repeatedly saves Ted's character for me. Seeing that trait lampooned sometimes takes the edge off when the same trait makes him act like an ass to one of his friends. At least he's consistent! =D

Possibly my favourite line of the season!

Yes! And it matches with the other things he's blurted out, almost echoing his speech to Lily in episode 4x01. I think it's pretty funny that fanfic wants to take Barney to a middle stage where he's still a larger-than-life person but also gives up the bimbos for Robin...and yet the show is going all the way, and committing to what they showed of Barney in his hippy day flashbacks. His dreams of loving Robin are ridiculously fanciful and sappy! But that works so well with how he's basically a hyper 8 year old in all his other relationships too.
