I did one more crossover. damn these are addictive. Highlander!

When Methos's throat was sliced open by pirate in the dead of night in his own well-locked New England bed chamber, he was surprised. And then he died, and for a few minutes had no opinion at all.

When the pirate found the coin stashed under the floorboards near the dresser, he was pleased, and tossed it in the air with a satisfied grin.

When the pirate looked down to see a sword through his chest, he was mostly just annoyed. Hadn't he made sure the cobbler lived alone?

When the pirate turned to see the man he'd just murdered standing behind him, looking down at the sword in the pirate's own chest and frowning in a puzzled way that didn't seem quite right given the how situation ought to be proceeding-- then the pirate was surprised. One could say he was as shocked as a walking dead person can be. Temporarily dead person, he reminded himself. The shape in his fist promised he was one gold piece closer to life.

The other temporarily dead person in the room was still staring, and had begun to wonder if he should pull out his sword.
