KUSO!

No! Lilah's dead! No no no!

Dammit she was my favorite character.

And wow, what's up with Cordy? I guess she was the one "among [them]" the whole time. She came back wrong. ::snigger::

You know what else this means? Now every single one of the original Scoobies (Giles included) has either murdered other humans in cold blood or made conscious choices that were directly responsible for their deaths. ::whistles:: whee.... how about that.

Still ::sniffle:: Lilah!

I know! I was so hoping it was going to be Fred. Gunn came up a close second. I just can't stand any more of Fred's whining and indecisiveness. Jeez get a backbone already and shut the hell up! Wesley should've stuck to a good thing. I miss Lilah already. :(

I had no idea anyone was gonna die... I wish it had been Fred too. It'd leave Gunn alive to angst with Wesley over her death. I would have said Gunn shoudl kick it, but Gunn and Connor bonding over the demon-killing was so cute that I liked him again. Fred just doesn't impress me though.

How about that slashy subtext-- I mean, text? Mutant Enemy is really tossing around the slash shout-outs this season, huh? First there was the funny look between Xander and Spike in Beneath You, then Xander's "Gay me up!" on First Date (which will likely span a whole slew of Xander/Archer xover slash fics), and now Angel saying how "if [he] swung that way" he'd dig Wesley. I loved Wesley's coolly-toned "Thank you."

(Love your flashcard icon by the way.)

I knew someone was going to die from the preview I saw, but I'd also heard Lilah was going to be in this episode, so I just knew it was going to be her. And yet, I hoped against all hope that it wasn't. She was ever so much more interesting than whiney Fred... I mean damn everyone is facing the end and the horny demon guy but she's the only one whining and grating on my frayed nerves all the time!! Why is that?
During Angel I had this sort of mantra I chanted continuously in my head (well, except on the parts where I was really blown away): "Please let Fred die. Not Lilah. Please."

But damn -- predictable, predictable ... if they wanted to really shock me (and please me) they would've killed Fred. I agree about Gunn too. He was my second choice both before and after the episode, but his stock did rise during and after the cute scene with Connor. As annoying as Connor can be, he needs a friend. Gunn and Wesley should both move on and get off the Fred thing -- she is so not worth it.

The semi-slashy Angelus did make me smile. As does all the Spike/Xander slashy sequences... Then again, pretty much everything Angelus says makes me smile. Scary, I know. That's another thing I was pleading for in my mind: "No, not yet. Angelus has to stay longer and get out! No resouling!"

I loved the episode... I just still can't help but wish that it was Fred. Lilah's been there (and remained consistently interesting) since very early on). What's Fred's contribution?

Oh yeah, the whining. ::sigh::

I'm all smiles here. He never gets boring. Why is it I find Angelus' character so much more appealing than Angel's? Is it because he gleefully voices the exact kind of things I say when I'm throwing popcorn at the screen?
