grievences
Mar. 3rd, 2003 06:26 pmThird graders are brats.
I have an extremely painful case of the hiccups.
I apparently live in the incest capital of the US.
And the internet hates me.
I'm trying to make the phot albums in my yahoo group viewable to all (I'm hoping this will make them...ya know, viewable, but I can't find how to change the group settings to allow anyone to browse the albums.
these are their sucky directions:
"How do I control access to photo albums?
A group moderator can determine who can view photo albums stored within that group.
To change the access settings for group photo albums, click Settings on the left-hand navigation bar. Click the Edit button next to Features and Options.
Scrolling down to the Files / Photos section, you'll find a number of different access levels to choose from."
Except-- when I can't find the damn Settings button! There is. no. settings. button. on. the. left!
ETA: I think I fixed it. Maybe. But I'm going to damn weel sign up to every bloody thing until I get some website to work.

Date: 2003-03-03 06:58 pm (UTC)I'm not sure if my problem was the same as the one you're having now, but here's what I did:
On the left column (when you're viewing the group, as logged in as yourself), click "Management". Then, under "Groups and Settings", click "Web Tools". Then "Edit". Under "Files/Photos" there's a radio button (or whatever it's called) for "Public".
