::HAHAHAHAHA::

Scarren Emperor: Why are you doing this?

JOHN: Why? Because I. Am. an AMERICAN!
What do Americans want?
Democracy!
Capitalism!
That's right! I want to sell out, and settle down!

::snert::

There's something always so very very fun about cowboy speeches. Especially when delivered in bluff to dictatorial alien war summits with a nuke strapped to your hip and galaxy travel at your command.

That was probably one of the most entertaining moments this show has ever had. You could tell that not only was the character, John, having hella fun, but the whole cast was too.

I can't believe this is all going to end soon.

Farscape. Buffy. 24. hell...even Sex & the City! I'm not going to have ANYTHING good to watch next year!

...::sniffle::. At least I'll still have Adult Swim.

Trigun should start circulation soon. That'll be nice. At least the ads they put together for it should be entertaining to see.

New episodes of Inu-Yasha. Maybe Kenshin. Haven't seen those.

I thought that 24 had been renewed. Am I wrong?

Wait. Why did you cross off 24. Last I heard, it got picked up for a third season as did Alias. Whoo hoo!!!! As for Farscape, after the series finale, Sci Fi's being deleted from my channels. BASTARDSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard people telling me it wasn't coming back. But I don't know that from anything concrete.

Yes, insane Crichton is fun. You know what's even more fun? Romantic John/Aeryn. The dance in the elevator mirroring the dance in Dog With Two Bones. God, I love those Farscape writers. And I still hate Sci Fi :(

Well-- I'm probably wrong about the 24 thing. I don't know for sure.

::frown:: Man, sucks to be you. Sympathies.

Dunno if you read that wrong or not, but I'm doing it voluntarily. It's not like the cable company's going all Gestapo on my ass :) Seriously, the only show I watched religiously on Sci Fi was Farscape. As for my X-Files fix, I still have TNT so it's all good :)

john: Yes, paid! That's right!

I loved that scene! It was so wonderful! Dog w/ Two Bones broke my heart so bad, but they're mending now and it's fantastic. Cause I so get this ship. I really really believe that he loves her and she loves him and that's all there is to it. The writers have utterly convinced me.

Also funny...them pretending to have been having sex in the birds of paradise garden. ::snicker::

And them doing good cop/ bad cop over the prone Scorpius was great too. The actors play so well of each

It's all about John and Aeryn right now because that's the only ship that has a chance of ending on a happy note. The writers have no idea what's going on in the Buffyverse. Well, I'm still holding out hope for Angel/Cordy. Cuz Angelus/EvilCordy would just be wrong. Alas, my shippy heart for a Faith/Gunn hook up is all for naught since I already know Faith's going over to Buffy in a mere two weeks. Dammit. She needs more time over at Angel. She rocks in Angel-Slo-Mo(TM).

I get that feeling too. I've no idea what's going to happen on Buffy, but I'm far more convinced of a "happy" ending is going to happen for J/A than B/S. B/S... I'm convinced it will be romantic, but the result of that could be romantic-anything.... good, bad, enigmatic.

I loved the Wesley+Faith interaction, and the Connor+Faith interaction. But actually, if I shipped anyone to her, it'd be Angel. Or Xander. I'm reading some killer ifc in [livejournal.com profile] nwhepcat's LJ the last few days that is turning me F/X.

Noooo! No Angel/Faith. Angel/Cordy. After season three, there's no doubt that will eventually happen. Well, some doubt now that David Greenwalt is over at Miracles. The only way I can see Angel/Cordy not happening is that Cordy's already dead and who(what)ever is in her killed her for her body.

From Dow Jones business news:

Gail Berman, the Fox Network entertainment president, said ‘24’ was the fifth-highest rated program on television, and announced that Fox would renew the program for a third season.

“By making the pickup now, we can give the producers ample time to go complete the course of the season, and plant the seeds for the next one,” she said. Ms. Berman said the show would retain its 24-hour concept, but declined to confirm if series star Keifer Sutherland would return.

“That could potentially give away a story line, and I’m not into doing that,” she said.

Well, Angel's fantasy!sex with Cordy was nice.

I'm sort of "whateva'..." n Angel ships. As long as it's not B/A, I don't care. A/Darla, A/Dru, A/C, A/Faith, A/ electro-girl.... all is ok by me.

Ah...good point that she wouldn't confirm if he'd be back or not. Unspoiled that way.

If it did return with someone else, I can see how that would keep the concept fresh and still interesting. But Sutherland looks so fucking good this year... ::pout:: I'd hate to see him go.

Yes, clever of her.

Kiefer is rockin', to be sure. I'd guess he'd be back. Though they could focus the show on the Tony Almeida character and I'd be fine with that, too. Yum.

Just no Kim, please.

Kim... that's the blond daughter, right? Don't like her much.

But I like the blonde (not evil) sister who kinda-sorta a love interest to Jack. She's cool. And I like the Tony character too. Though I missed a lot, I think this season is better than last. More of a consistant story.

This season was planned out in advance, which is why the story is more consistent. Last season, they hadn't really thought beyond the sniper thing, and they realized they couldn't stretch it over the whole season. So they had to come up with more plottage on the fly.

Yes, Kim's the daughter.

I like the love-interest sister, too. I hope they proceed with that.

I share in your pain, although I dropped Far Scape two seasons, I've had to say goodbye to This season I've had to say goodbye to Oz and Birds of Prey, and not too long from now BtVS and 24.

At least there's Dead Zone and CSI. You should check out Dead Zone if you haven't it truly kicks ass.

From your reaction, can I assume you haven't been watching Angel as religiously as you have Buffy? Cuz if you have been, you'd see the beauty of Angel/Cordy :p

That would be a great big "no". I started watching AtS with the last ten minutes of the raining fire episode. I'm a newbie. And my ship upon joining was Wes/Lilah. Which.. ::sob:: is over.

Before that I'd seen maybe 5 whole episodes.

Ack. So you missed the ballet ep where Angel and Cordy practically ravage each other?!? No wonder you don't care about Angel/Cordy :)

As for Lilah/Wesley, I think she's gonna be haunting his thoughts for a while so here's hoping we get some mind cuddling :)
