JOHN: Why? Because I. Am. an AMERICAN!
What do Americans want?
Democracy!
Capitalism!
That's right! I want to sell out, and settle down!
::snert::
There's something always so very very fun about cowboy speeches. Especially when delivered in bluff to dictatorial alien war summits with a nuke strapped to your hip and galaxy travel at your command.
That was probably one of the most entertaining moments this show has ever had. You could tell that not only was the character, John, having hella fun, but the whole cast was too.
I can't believe this is all going to end soon.
...::sniffle::. At least I'll still have Adult Swim.
Trigun should start circulation soon. That'll be nice. At least the ads they put together for it should be entertaining to see.
New episodes of Inu-Yasha. Maybe Kenshin. Haven't seen those.

Date: 2003-03-08 11:59 am (UTC)Gail Berman, the Fox Network entertainment president, said ‘24’ was the fifth-highest rated program on television, and announced that Fox would renew the program for a third season.
“By making the pickup now, we can give the producers ample time to go complete the course of the season, and plant the seeds for the next one,” she said. Ms. Berman said the show would retain its 24-hour concept, but declined to confirm if series star Keifer Sutherland would return.
“That could potentially give away a story line, and I’m not into doing that,” she said.
Re:
Date: 2003-03-08 12:56 pm (UTC)If it did return with someone else, I can see how that would keep the concept fresh and still interesting. But Sutherland looks so fucking good this year... ::pout:: I'd hate to see him go.

Date: 2003-03-08 01:01 pm (UTC)Kiefer is rockin', to be sure. I'd guess he'd be back. Though they could focus the show on the Tony Almeida character and I'd be fine with that, too. Yum.
Just no Kim, please.
Re:

I like the love-interest sister, too. I hope they proceed with that.
