Just stayed up and extra 3 hours reading the sequel to 'What She Deserves.'

go see it now: 'Lovingkindess' by Herself

Didn't like it *quite* as much as its predecessor, but that's nothing to do with writing quality, believe me. I'm just not that attached to slash, and the previously story, while also having both, had slightly more B/S. But in fics like this... the slash MATTERS. The slash changes EVERYthing. The slash becomes instrumental in understanding the B/S, which sounds weird, I know-- but once you read them you'll get it. And you can't not love Herself's original characters, because they are so very that---original.

That's it; I'm going to bed. There's rum cake waiting for me for breakfast in 6 hours. This constant reading has clearly affected my priorities. I mean really, the cake deserves more attention.

hm.... well, I've been to seattle. It was alright. At least I got a west coast city! And not being a big fan of LA (not to diss it, just not my thing), this is ok. And hey-- anyone who goes to Seattle-- take 'The Underground' tour, of Seattle's business district. It's hilarious. The best, most amusing & informative walking tour I've ever been on. Yeah, most of the information you pick up is pretty useless, but it's damn funny.
