1. Apples or pears? Apples, most of the time. Not that pears are evil.

2. Oranges or grapefruit? Oranges. Always and forever. One of the most perfect tasting frutis there are.

3. Broccoli or cauliflower? Broccoli. I love broccoli. I don't understand those people who dislike broccoli.

4. Green beans or lima beans? Green beans. Hate hate hate lima beans with a fiery passion of a dozen burning suns.

5. Winter or summer squash? Is summer the yellow kind? I like the yellow kind.

6. Blueberries or strawberries? Strawberries. They taste like summer. juicy, sweet, tart.

7. Tomatoes or potatoes? Oh tomatoes any day. A person who dislikes tomatoes is a sub-par human being. Seriously.

8. Peaches or plums? ooh... hard choice. Plums, I suppose. Though really, nectarines beat them both... taste of peaches, smooth edible skinliek a plum.

9. Peas or carrots? Both are good, but... carrots.

10. Asparagus or corn? Corn. Love sweet corn. Hate apsaragus with the fiery passion of a THOUSAND burning suns.

on social life:

Finally found a club in SJ for 18+, thank god. Only for one night though. Now must find someone to drag with. Want to dance v. badly to fast music and flashy lights at unbearable decibles.

Soon to start fun music-trading circle w/ friendly & hopefully not-stalky LJ people.

on school:

Took a mid-term for Sociology: Social Problems. Did well enough. Little blue books are irritating, but pages are nice & small.

Got soc. essay from prev. wk. back-- 9/10. v. good.

Turns out did NOT miss chpt.5 qz in Statistics. also v. good. Am set for qz tomorrow.

Have skipped more than a few weightlifting classes-- am to the point where almost don't want to go back its been so long. But want to, cause don't want to fail.


on TV:

Firefly: You secured my attention with 'Our Mrs. Reynolds' (ep.3), but you won the beginnings of my love this last Friday's episode. It was exciting, interesting, and had the best performances all around since the show started. It was glimpse of the higher-quality potential Firefly has hidden in its back pocket.

Haunted: I liked you, but we just couldn't bond. In fact, I'm dumping you for the season premier of 24. I missed almost that whole show last year, and I'm not gonna miss it again for a depressing cop show with wanna-be XF ooglie booglies, no matter how yummy the protagonist.

24: My vcr awaits your thrilling, commercial-free presence.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Damn UPN for forcing you into a rerun. I was looking forward to some nice post mid-term relaxation time with lots of over-invested fangirl nail-biting & agonizing over Spike, his future, his relationsip with Buffy, his redemption, his hair, his clothing, his soul, his Dawn friendship, his constant willing victimization at the hands of the SG, his voice, his sexy-yet-aggravating insanity, his..... you get the point.
