Whoa.

"You're alive because I saw you change."

Fuck me.

I can't talk about this. Except--- wow.

I have to go read other people's LJs now, and see what they think cause my brain's pure overloaded.

Fucking 'ell.

My post-NLM feelings.

The dance of Spuffy shipper-dom:

What is this? My visiting step-aunt is monopolizing the tv so that I can't rewatch NLM?!

What do I do? Why, I download it of course.

And then I constantly re-watch the basement scene, trying to analyze it.

And you know what? I haven't tired of it yet.

Its interesting though... when Spike was describing the girls dawn's age that he'd killed before, hoping that if he told Buffy how really awful he was that she'd kill him-- right then I had some sympathy for Buffy and her angst over being with "a soulless vampire" last year. Before, I could never really sympathize much with Buffy on that particular issue (as opposed to... say, the post-resurrection angst), but this did make me see it a little more her way, and it kinda makes me feel like I get that aspect of Buffy!angst more.

I like SMG's portrayal better this year than most of last-- she played Buffy too stoic, and I never understood half of her motivations last year, or what she wanted. This year we can see into Buffy more, and I'm enjoying watching her more again.

A side note-- I loved the way she delivered the line "And you can be." I loved her voice, her tone, her expression-- I loved it.

Another thing. I'm glad they had Spike describe some of his worser deeds. Sometimes I get annoyed with fanfic because people insist on saying "he wasn't that bad"... but I think it's more a better story that he *was* that bad-- because it makes his changes all that much more radical. And I also got tired of how the Season 2 seemed to make Spike seem like he was so dangerous, and then after season 3 everyone treated him like a chump who never succeeded. When really, it seemed like the only thing that ever foiled Spike's plans was his own impatience, combined wiht his unnatural interest in the Slayer personally. I like that they're reminding us that he *is* dangerous, that he *is* a Master vampire whose killed for over a century, and done so brutally, for the fun of it. It makes it all more complex, and more fun to watch (in a freaky way).

You are

"I'm rash and impulsive. It's a flaw."

What "Buffy" Character Are You?

I retook it three more time, and got first Anya, then Angel, the third time tried to get Spike and got Dru instead.

Then I tried to more times, and I got Xander then Jonathon. I really wanted to see the Spike pic. If anyone did it and gets the Spike pic, show me!

I did it a last time, answering completely honestly, and I got Angel. Which is weird, because the first time I answered in complete honesty too, and yet I got Buffy.

"You are like the average person. You aren't too high strung and can calm down once and awhile.
You aren't overly attuned to the animal world, but you aren't so far removed from it that you can't identify what they generally are, besides wicked evil-ness or just plain food that still breaths.
If you had to, you could probably survive a night in the woods, you know... if it had a bathroom.
"

Yes, I could. If it had a bathroom.
