[livejournal.com profile] eliade had this linked at her journal, I'm getting kick out of it:

The Horrifically Honest Guide to Fanfiction Terms

Example-

AU: Cunning way of utterly ignoring every salient plot fact about a given movie/tv programme except for the most important one, i.e. that it stars Ewan MacGregor.

:g:

I also liked this, from the same page. It's a brief but thorough list on how Fox Mulder could be Aragorn's true descendant-- based mostly on scruff factor and tendendcy to walk away from nightmaric conflicts with just a manly scratch and nothing worse. :chuckle:

I took it a second time and got Meryl Strife.

Was listening to 'My Immortal' by Evanescence again.

Gaaaaaah. Such a sad sad song. I'm going to start crying soon.

Hm... the bands listed on the Daredevil soundtrack look like a cool collection. Anyone listen to it yet and know if it's any good?

Just watched the Audioslave music vid to "Like A Stone", a very addictive song.

And my lasting impression of the video?

Chris Cornell is both insanely attaractive and fucking scary.

From watching it, I imagine he'd be a hot kisser who also just so happens to kidnap and eat babies.

I have a smashing desire right now to make some Trigun icons to SR-71 lyrics.

Especially a Vash icon to the line "I can't see the forest for the trees" ... though I'm aware that's a saying that existed before the band. And I'm not even sure what that line has to do with Vash's character anyway. But I think it would look good. Maybe with a pic of Vash all pained and miserable as he stands over the body of that guy from the spaceship with the bad Elvis curl? Or the look of utter horror he gets when he shoots Knives the first time? Maybe something to comment on how out of control his life truly is, and how out of touch with reality he is that it's taken him this long to face it.

::shiver:: Oh, that'd be cool. I hope I can find pics though. Otherwise, I'd have to take them from my art book, which consequently entails finding the program upload CD for the discombobulating process of reinstalling my scanner.

Also, I have to pull out my CD again and find out which song that lines comes from, so I can make others. I can't remember-- is it no. 3, or 5?

But no; bed first!
