I was scouring a fantastic website for XF screencaps, and I realized a pattern. The cameras on this show are hardly ever on Mulder's profile. I was looking for a pic of him hunched over or sitting down, in full or partial profile, and it's been hella hard. For Mulder it's almost always full-frontal close-up. Scully's images were more varied, but still very few profile images.

For some reason I found this very odd. DD certainly looks good enough in profile, sometimes better than full-on; I guess it's a style thing by the directors. For example, on Farscape, we see John in profile or partial profile a lot.

But anyway, I've now got 3 out fo the 5 pics I need for my bishonen angst icon. :)

Saw AtS tonight. Tonight's ep & promo spoilers only )

I have this button/pin thing, about the diameter of a golf ball, with a stupid slogan on it.

I think I'm going to use the sticker-paper for CD labeling and take the middle circle part, and print out a sticker saying "I'm an athiest: ask me how." It'd fit over the button perfectly.

I just watched a very odd Lord of the Rings fan-video to the Chumbawumba song "Tubthumping"... you know, I get knocked down, but I get up again! You're never gonna keep me down!

The concept worked pretty well for the first movie, and it was nicely timed. The quality was terrible though; a small image and very grainy. But fun to watch.

Thanks [livejournal.com profile] kimberly_a, for pointing me to this article. Like you, I'm pleasantly surprised to see that Ebert is not only a good movie critic, but a good journalistic writer as well.
