I have this great desire to make an icon with the line "We'll go be heroes." paired with the Wallflowers song lyric line "We can be heroes" paired with something horrible, angsty, TRAGIC, and possibly bloody.

Cause dude, it was the last thing he said to her before the _-_-_-_ with _-_-_-_.

Which is sad.

Also, I'm annoyed. I can't find my tape to rewatch the _-_-_-_ scene before going to bed. I think my parents took it into their room (sleeping now) so they could watch 24, which I also recorded.

Speaking of 24, I can't believe Palmer made that call to the Turkish leader. He should have looked at them all when they asked and said a big "Well, fuck you. Too bad." I just lost all respect for his character. That was wrong, and he was under no obligation to do it.
timepiececlock: (my spike)
Today, for the first time in weeks, I woke up with the desire to write fic. Damn my having school.

Also, GIP= Gratuitous Icon Post. [livejournal.com profile] green_luv made it from tuesday night's episode. He's so pretty.

On a different tv show:

This I wrote last night, but saved because LJ was acting mean and stuff:

Watched Farscape tonight. An ep I'd never seen. Caught a reference that amused me:

John to D'Argo:
"Humans do not live as long as Sebaceans or Luxons or Hynerians. Eighty cyles, D'Argo! Eighty cycles, everyone, everyone I know and love will be dead. My father, my sisters, my cousins, Cameron Diaz, Buffy the Vampire Slayer WILL BE DEAD!"

Heh. John Crichton as a Buffy fan. And you just know that means he probably caught up with the whole last 3 seasons and Spuffy thing on FX while revisiting Earth for those few weeks... and if he hadn't been blasted into space dust in the season finale, he'd probably be rooting for Spike and crying that the show was ending.

Or maybe I'm reaching here. But hell, if I can be a fan, there's no reason other people, albeit imaginary TV characters, can't be fans too, right?

Back to Farscape-- love this episode. I've seen the next two, but had missed this one before. It's filling in the blanks.

Dude, Buffy was talked about on NPR and I missed it?!

Entertaining for this sentence alone: "We are at the point where we're developing textual studies of Buffy and debates about what constitutes the actual text of Buffy."

I like my keyboard well enough, but I'm used to hitting the 'B' key with my right hand, not my left. Also, the arrow buttons are too small. And I keep hitting 'Insert' or 'Delete' when I mean to hit 'End'. Oh well, I'll get used to it.

So, after much MUCH waiting, thanks to Netflix.com I've finally watched the last episodes of Cowboy Bebop.

Now that's some fuckin' bitch-ass anime )
::roll final credits::

EDIT: Ok, credits are sad. Way sad. Music gonna make me cry now. **leaves to cry**

so I had this thought.

Now that I've seen Cowboy Bebop's ending, I had a fic crossover idea. BTVS/CB

Spike (william the bloody, not spiegel) + Faye Valentine, many years in the future, bond over lost love.

Because I've never done Spike/Other, and it'd be great to give him someone, a 100+ years after Buffy's dead. And it'd be nice to give Faye someone too.

start of an outline )
I’ll plan out more later
