Well [livejournal.com profile] sisabet, [livejournal.com profile] dragolyn, [livejournal.com profile] kimberly_a, [livejournal.com profile] spiffarific, [livejournal.com profile] thenyxie, [livejournal.com profile] bailunrui, [livejournal.com profile] canadia_bit.... looks like we're made for each other! )

Sorry [livejournal.com profile] octopedingenue, [livejournal.com profile] anniesj, [livejournal.com profile] lin_lin_lucy, [livejournal.com profile] caille... you just will just have to wait until the next life to have a piece of my fantabulous self! And my Braintwin [livejournal.com profile] bloodypotery isn't even on my list. :pout:

Looking at my top three people (how can you all have 106%?), I'm a little tweaked. Or my curiosity is. [livejournal.com profile] dragolyn and [livejournal.com profile] kimberly_a I kinda get, but [livejournal.com profile] sisabet is a surprise. The good kind of surprise, of course. ;D

I'm now reading an HarryPotter fic that's Draco/Hermione. I'm liking it.

I don't normally read HP fic (due in part to my large dissatifaction with the films and some early bad experiences with Willow/Snape crossovers)... what does it say about me as a fan that I chose this pairing? Is this, like, a popular well-loved pairing? Is it horribly ridiculed across the more conventional/respectable HP boards, like Buffy/Spike once was for BtVS? Is it fondly regarded or generally dismissed and ignored?

The answer doesn't mean much to me either way (I'll read whatever), but I'm curious. I know there's a lot of slash fic out there for HP, but I'm mostly ignorant of HP fandom politics. Is slash the common fan-favorite?

oh god. Harry Potter fic is evil. Just evil evil Evil. What the hell am I doing reading this? I should be looking at my meteorology textbook and learning how to plot isobars.

Must stop... must stop...

Damn, I should at least pause to eat dinner, right? yeah, I should do that...

EDIT @ 7:54 - I've now downloaded hoards of Draco/Hermione for later consumption. More chapters on my hard drive than you can fit Toruk-Han in a cave. Next up: TURKEY DINNER!

[Poll #141149]

EDIT: Oh, this is ironic! Two people have rec'd Watchers by Dean Koontz. I've read that book 3 times, and loved it. The Outsider always made me so sad. I haven't read many of Koontz's other books (so many out there), but that is an old fav.

Remember guys, say the authors' names too! Or I might try the wrong one.

It's too hot.

I'm all for sunshine, but I'd like the temperature to go down at least 10 degrees for nightfall.

Is that too much to ask?

There was a brush fire in the hills today. I'm so not surprised.

Stupid 8 day plus heat spell.
