The Romantic Gut-wrenching Music Has Landed!
(Does anyone have a clean copy of the Matt Nathanson cover of "Laid"? I only have a version ripped from the radio station.)
All I Need Is The Air That I Breathe by The Hollies
I first downloaded this one for my mother, but I fell in love with it too. I even made a Spike/Bffy icon set for it once upon a time. Today it's up for
saava, and her wonderful Air Music Mix. ::waves::
( If I could make a wish I think I'd pass Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound Nothing to eat no books to read )
2. You Don't Know Me by Jann Arden
This is the version that played in My Best Friend's Weddin, and my favorite cover of this song. It's so... sad yet singable.
( You give your hand to me and then you say hello )
3. Saved The Best For Last by Vanessa Williams
I don't remember when this song came out, except that I always, always liked it. It's sappy but I won't say no to good sap.
( Sometimes the snow comes down in June Sometimes the sun goes around the moon I see the passion in your eyes Sometimes it's all a big suprise )
4. Song To The Siren by This Mortal Coil
I picked this up somewhere... I think someone recced it to me as an S/B song. All I know is that it's very, very pretty.
( And you sang 'Sail to me, sail to me, Let me enfold you.' )
5. Who Would've Thought by Rancid
I'm stilling waiting for someone to make me a damned Spike -centric S/B music video to this. ...I'm waiting!
( Who would've thought that the dreams come true? And who would've thought I ended up with you? And who would've thought what they said was true? But it was and you are, lighted darkness come through )

For god knows what reason, I mildly spoiled myself by reading the tag summary for some future Angel episode...next week I think ( the following spoilers are all I know, so don't make it worse for me, please, and only talk about them )

Feb. 11th, 2004 11:03 pmRecorded tonight's Angel. Which means I now have... 3 recorded eps yet to see, and one that's not recorded. But I am determined to watch them in order! FEEL THE POWER OF MY NEED FOR CHRONOLOGICAL TV CONSUMPTION!
...my bittorent is stuck at 12% of Soul Purpose and downloading at 1 KB/sec. That's 43 hours to go, people. So if anyone wants to volunteer to host the 430MB episode on their website for about 2.5 hours, tops, then I could get through this a lot quicker.
