So... a bunch of demons kidnapped and impregnated Hakkai's true love with demonspawn (and not Hakkai!demonspawn, the bad kind) and she kills herself in front of him, so he goes and pulls an Anakin Skywalker on the whole clan?

You know, he is Chichiri -2.1. Because Chichiri actually caused the death of an innocent person, not evil people. Honestly I was suspecting Hakkai's dark backstory to be a lot more sinister and morally ambiguous.

I guess somewhere along the line of Jossverse and Full Metal Alchemist I just have come to expect the very worst from secretive character backstories, and now I'm kinda disappointed because Hakkai's backstory doesn't make him a recovering bad guy... it just makes him a recovering grieving & angry guy.

Still, I do so love his English voice.

World at large:

The employees at the Ford Dealership in Red Bluff, California are generally kind and helpful folk, who let you control the satellite tv and let your dog wander around their building for several hours when you are stranded there, and give you rides back and forth to a motel so you'd don't have to get a taxi, and generally make themselves helpful.

I reccomend them if you ever have a breakdown in the vicinity of Red Bluff and your Ford vehicle happens to chew its own knees off.

My brain heard John Crichton and the words, "Previously, on Farscape: ..."
