The Chopstick parody of Full Metal Alchemist episode 45 is cracking my shit up big time. The whole scene with Roy is now about whether or not he had sex with Edward and whether homosexuality belongs in the military.

Which, while of course is a very serious and emotional topic, is nevertheless pretty funny in this context. Especially with comparison of Roy and Edward to peanut butter and jelly. And ff.net.

Also... they replaced the openign theme "Rewrite" with the 2nd season theme song from Naruto by the same band, then had the subtitles from "Hakuna Matata" from The Lion King. Which actually fit bizarrely well.

This is very amusing. Even the HP jokes.

EDIT AFTER 2nd viewing: Huh. The pendant necklace and the Rasengan both appear in this movie, it seems. Which would place this movie very current in the timeline of recently released episodes. Unless it's a different necklace.... there's still the Rasengan though.

"Accidentally In Love" by The Counting Crows is getting a lot of radio play around here.

I think it's just because it's so freaking' catchy.

It's true CC seems to have had mostly poppy singles in the last few years... but they're so good at it I can't hold it against them. I will listen to their stuff whether it's angsty bluesy rock or total pop for a movie soundtrack. I'm easy that way.

I've been putting my social life on hold because I knew I would be moving 500ish miles away, but this is getting tiresome. I want to be in Southern California already. I want to date.
