Running thoughts on Samurai Champloo 20

I must confess that I think in the end I like Jin better than Mugen, and have pretty much from the start of the show. Mugen's funny and cool, but not at all sexy. I think his character design is rather ugly. Jin's sexy and cool, but kind of cold and distant and all, which puts me off too. But ultimately not as much as Mugen sometimes puts me off.

I think Fuu gets along well with either of them (as proven so far in the show), but then again I really liked that one girl a few episodes back who decided that one day she would marry Mugen. I kind of like to believe that a few years down the road, they'd run into each other and do exactly that. She would be better for Mugen, ultimately, than Fuu would.

I guess I can say I'm a Fuu/Jin, Mugen/that one girl, shipper.

But only loosely, you know. My shipping tendencies for SC are flexible to the extreme. Because we still know so little about what's going on any of the character's heads at any one point. But that's a rant for another day. A rant I have every time I watch this show.

Samurai Champloo in dub... kill me now.

... Funny how they use "violent" (with stressed emphasis) as a description for SC but not for FMA. Cause, dude... FMA is like 3 times as gorey as Samurai Champloo. Say it with me: exploding heads.
