I watched this when I was a kid.

Someone on my flist (edit: herongale) uploaded an episode of "The Joy of Painting, with Bob Ross" a few days ago, and I nabbed it wondering Is this the show with that guy with the fuzzy hair who made painting look so easy?

It is!

I'm watching it now, and OMGIT'SLIKEHYPNOTISM.ICAN'TLOOKAWAY.

Oh look he's adding a tree!

And look at what he's doing with the pond reflection!

The foliage! How does he do that? I mean, I know how he did it because I just watched him do it, but HOW DOES HE DO THAT?

Now I want to get out my art supplies and try all his neat little tips. And I have an urgent desire to go buy some brushes. None of my brushes are as wide as his! How can I paint without that really wide round brush? I AM NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT IT!

Stayed up tonight being distracted by this fic. I don't read a lot of Samurai Champloo fic, but I started this one on a whim. It's proven interesting, if out of character at times. Still, I'll take some OOCness if it's still written well, and this is written pretty well-- better than average SC fics. It's fairly dark and smutty and I don't think I like it, but it's interesting.


I also glanced at the Naruto section of adultff.net, which I've never looked at before. Would you believe this? The ratio of yaoi to het is 54:3. I shit you not. I mean, I know yaoi is more popular in Naruto ficdom, but it's not as divided as the fandoms of other series, and that ratio's just extreme for any fandom.

The funny part though? The three het fics that are there consist of: Itachi/Hinata, Gaara/Temari, and Naruto/Anko. A big round of "WTF?" please!
