timepiececlock: (Logan/Veronica love stories)
OMGEPIC!

Just because I don't think I've said it yet, and of course I must join in and due my part. Rewatching bits of 2x20 for the third time )

So...yeah... this is a rambling monologue about how pleased I am with my ship. Ignore any nonsensical jumps, please.

In other news, of all the people on this show, I wish I had Logan's silver tongue. They give him really articulate, clever lines. Not just funny lines, but lines with complex multiple meanings and quite an edge of wit. Even drunk he sounds so damn....smart. I have a weakness for a good turn of phrase, and Logan seems to spout a continuous stream of excellently turning words. And yet it doesn't annoy me; it just makes me kind of jealous. I can express my intelligence through my opinions, but I can't open my mouth and in 5 words convince people that I am both articulate and saavy by saying crude things in a really clever manner. On the spot. With no half hour in the bathroom thinking it up.

I'll be over here, feeling jealous over not having a team of writers in my head
at all times to make everything that pops out of my mouth brilliant.

Lost 2x13

Catching up on some episodes of Lost. Unfortunatley grabbing 2x10-2x13 yesterday meant hitting my 1gig max on sendspace, so [livejournal.com profile] donna_c_punk, I hope your Laureena McKennit links don't expire!

Anyway, I'm totally unspoiled for this (well, one potential future spoiler, unconfirmed), and it's been months since I saw episode 2x9.

My overall impression of this batch of eps? I really, really want to see an Echo vid to "Gangsta's Paradise". Yes, it's a tired old song, but *damn* it would be good. Scripture and all.

Anyway, various thoughts )

A different thought: can anyone explain to me why I despise Saywer, when usually the bad boy is the one I like in tv shows? Because seriously, I would hate Sawyer in real life. As a character he's interesting, but I still dislike him. I don't find him sexy or endearing or entertaining. Self-centered people are typically useful in their predictability, but that combination's spoiled in Sawyer, being as he is decidedly unpredictable. I dislike Sawyer, as a character and as a hypothetical person (this is different from characters that I know I'd hate if they were real people, but love as characters.)

Actually, I like Sayid and Echo more than Sawyer, which is weird because Sawyer's a lot less guilty and murderous than either of them.

EDIT: Sorry flist, messed up the LJ cut there. Stupid shift key. Anyway, I hope the only 5 or so Avatar fans on my flist weren't watching for that minute to minute and half. If so, sorry! ::bows:: Gomen nasai!

------

The party I'm going to doesn't start till 10:30, it turns out, so I got to catch the new episode of Avatar. But what happened to the second one? I thought there were supposed to be two?

I giggled a lot for this episode. Episode 2.05 )

Anyway, good times, good times. I like this episode much more than last-- it's a great deal more fun. Like the opposite of "Jaynestown."
