Because if you drop it for the thirtieth time and it freezes and starts making whirring clicking noises in its tiny moving hard drive, you can set it down for twenty six hours, come back, wipe it, re-upload the software, and POOF LIKE MAGIC IT WORKS AGAIN! This is significantly different from my first iPod (a mini) which broke and bled to death internally after only the second time I dropped it. On carpet.

Audiobook: Salem's Lot

So I'm listening to Salem's Lot on audiobook by Stephen King. Turns out: big mistake! Or maybe not. But...

I sat in my drive way last night in the car ALONE in the DARK listening to the scene where Danny Glick is floating outside the kids bedroom and JESUS CHRIST THIS BOOK IS ONLY GOING TO GET SCARIER I CAN TELL.

Note to self: like IT, some books need to be consumed in the daylight or not past 10pm.
