1. I'm making a Spuffy icon song set to "This woman's work" that uses almost entirely images from Touched. It'll be cool. I intend to have it up by Tusesday, at the latest, no matter what the cost. I want to get it out before the finale, and before I know what happens to Spuffy. It's such a pretty song.

2. If I ever needed a reason to live in California, I have the greatest one right now: fresh fruit. My mom just bought an enormous box of strawberries (frickin' huge box) and a large bag of cherries from a fruit stand of the side of the road, for 10 dollars. And they're perfect. I've been consuming them like a madwoman. Fruit. Perfect, wonderful, delicious, PERFECT fruit.

I have fifty songs I'd vid, if I had the patience too.

hello, icon.

I've picked out all the pictures, and now I'm about 2/3 of the way through adding/customizing text. I've also been listening to ONLY that song for like HOURS. It's making me all romantic and sappy and spuffy-gushy.

same album. it's sensual world, & it came out in '89. wonderful.

"hounds of love" is on hounds of love & on the whole story. the former is kate bush's best album, IMHO (you get HOL, you get "running up that hill [deal with god]," you get "jig of life" & "big sky" & "waking the witch" & "cloudbusting" & watch me gush). the latter is a 'greatest hits,' that covers her career through HOL. it's very prog-rocky. but you do get "wuthering heights" & "man with the child in his eyes." the red shoes her last album (from '93, i think) is quite good too. prince worked on one track. "song of solomon" is on that one (see my icon), & it's an homage to song of solomon (yes, from the old testament) as much as "the sensual world" is an homage to joyce's ulysses. see? gushing.

here...just go to the page at amazon & listen to all the samples & figure out what i'm gushing about. ;)
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/artist/glance/-/51160/ref=m_art_dp/103-6371333-7189407>kate at amazon</i> i ::heart:: kate bush.

dammit. amazon hates me & so does my typing. (as well it should). just seriously, go to amazon, search kate. there are great samples, not just snippets of mediocre tracks.
