Friday night was wonderful. fic rec: Variability

1. Coldplay is the best. I love them.

I want to marry Christ Martin.

He was dancing across the stage. Not that choreographed boyband dancing, more like that seven-year-old-so-excited-on-christmas-morning-that-he-starts-bouning-around dancing. He... bubbled across the stage with his guitar. It was the cutest fucking thing I'd ever seen a grown man do. And I wasn't even close to the stage.

The acoustics at Shoreline Ampitheater in Mountain View suck. But the concert was the coolest I'd ever been to. Out of a whopping 3 total.

I love Coldplay. I want to marry Chris Martin.

Maybe if I say it enough it'll happen. :hopeful:

There were pretty lights on smoke, and the band played wonderfully, and Chris Martin was both funny and as good at singing live as in a recording studio.

If a girl deliberately sits next to you in class every day (though the class only is on fridays), chats you up, smiles a lot, and over a few weeks arranges it so that you have her email and phone number, fucking well get a clue.


5. My new word is schiznit. I've decided I love it. I hope I'm using it correctly.


6. Going backward through LJ friends lists after 3 days is very tiring.


7. I have all these icons I haven't gotten around to posting here yet, and plus I got the nutso ideas to start TWO new songsets.

I invited him to come with friend K and I to the beach (how I gave him my number), and he said he really'd like to but he was doing this movieproject for his friend (he's a film major, wer're in a film class) that day. I think that's close enough to asking him out that he should get it, right?

Hmmm... Film student. Well, that could mean that he's both brilliant and v. dense. (I should know, I tend to fall for that type.) I mean, yeah...it should be obvious enough. But I mean, I'm a girl and therefore, I'm not entirely qualified to say... I haven't obtained my degree in 'boy stupid' yet.

But, if he still doesn't seem to get it, you could always just move onto plan B. The 'sitting in his lap, throwing out overt come-ons, telling him if he asks you out it's a guaranteed "yes," maybe making out with him as well' plan!

I'd ask him out for ice cream or something, but the cold hard truth si that I can't afford it. how sucky is that?
