Damn those pesky kids!
Jun. 2nd, 2003 12:41 pmI'm now reading an HarryPotter fic that's Draco/Hermione. I'm liking it.
I don't normally read HP fic (due in part to my large dissatifaction with the films and some early bad experiences with Willow/Snape crossovers)... what does it say about me as a fan that I chose this pairing? Is this, like, a popular well-loved pairing? Is it horribly ridiculed across the more conventional/respectable HP boards, like Buffy/Spike once was for BtVS? Is it fondly regarded or generally dismissed and ignored?
The answer doesn't mean much to me either way (I'll read whatever), but I'm curious. I know there's a lot of slash fic out there for HP, but I'm mostly ignorant of HP fandom politics. Is slash the common fan-favorite?

I have only one enemy that I know of. A little Relena-hater from Gundam Wing fandom who blasted one of my fics and promised to have all her little friends beat me up. Coward didn't even leave a retun email.
