What does "mensch" mean?

Take this example:

BAH! what did you think i mean beau=boyfriend....ME have a boyfriend?!? yea right!!!....the beaus are boys and they are my friends...they are probally the closest that i have to boyfriends....err with the stuff we used to do

That's why I asked. Not because I ddin't think you could, but because I was curious, since that's what the word means.

BAH, oh i know that......i just like the look on there faces when i say beau-bears all cutey like and they look at me all weird....actually they take no notice of it anymore...its the norm....
